
My Story
I'm Annie Watson and have been making jellies, jams and chutneys for over thirty years from fruit and vegetables sourced mainly from the orchard, hedgerows and garden. The recipes have been developed and refined over the years and include some original recipes handed down by my Canadian grandmother. The orchard, hedgerow and garden produce is grown without the use of chemical sprays or artificial fertilisers but is not certified organic, and any extra produce needed is sourced from local farm shops (with a few exceptions, oranges and mangos don’t grow well at Cakebole!) Seasonal variation will sometimes affect supply but alongside the usual range there are normally a few experimental products to add variety and interest.
